Mantis/Manitou trackless twin-boom drill rig

This highly specialised mining equipment drills, bolts, bores, installs wire mesh and roof supports, and helps laying charges for underground blasting. Its unique feature is its ability to operate electrically while underground, which significantly lowers fuel consumption as well as emissions.

Tyre handling with telehandlers

Manitou has designed the tyre handler attachment to work with telehandlers to change large mining equipment’s tyres – such as on dump trucks, LHDs and other utility vehicles. 5 telehandler models are available for tyre handling with capacities ranging from 8 tons to 22.5 tons.

Access platforms with cage

Access to large or high-up mining equipment for repairs and maintenance is essential on every mine. Simple and strong, Manitou’s access platforms are designed for lifting up to 230 kg to heights of up to 20 metres – no matter the terrain type. 3 ATJ access platform models are available with reach heights ranging from 16.25 metres to 20 metres.
